Quinton Aaron, the actor renowned for his portraying NFL figure Michael Oher in the widely acclaimed film ‘The Blind Side’, has expressed deep concern over the troubling dispute between the former football player and the Tuohy family.
Aaron deemed this unfolding conflict as a “regrettable and unfortunate twist of events.”
Upon learning about Oher‘s bombshell lawsuit alleging that the Tuohy family, who took him under their wing, amassed significant monetary gains from the movie’s royalties while Oher himself received nothing, Aaron experienced a profound sense of disappointment.

This was particularly distressing as the movie was based on Oher‘s life story.
“I was shocked and completely caught off guard,” Aaron told The New York Post on Tuesday.
“Having met Michael and the Tuohys, I feel like this is a sad, unfortunate turn of events.
“I can say just from my personal experience from meeting with both parties, I have the utmost respect for all of them over the years.”
Despite Aaron‘s involvement in “The Blind Side,” he refrained from delving into the specifics of his experiences during the film’s production due to his participation in the ongoing SAG-AFTRA strike.
Nonetheless, Aaron voiced his surprise regarding Oher’s assertion that Sean and Leigh Anne Tuohy had ensnared the ex-NFL star into a conservatorship.
The Warner Bros film, released in 2009, featuring Bullock and Tim McGraw, has accumulated earnings exceeding 300 million dollars.
Aaron, who is now 39 years old, remarked that Oher did not participate in the filming process, and their encounter was limited to a single meeting in 2013.
This interaction occurred in Chicago, where both individuals jointly provided autographs for their fans.
“We sat around after we finished and he was telling me that people were calling him my name, and I told him everywhere I went, people were calling me Big Mike,” Aaron said.
