The world of online gaming, especially those that seek to be competitive or at least have that facet, usually has a community that reacts to everything that happens about the different titles
It’s no different in the case of Pokemon TCG Pocket, where fans are looking to both get the best cards possible for their decks and to definitively complete the collection. However, trades were very expensive at first, and the developer has listened to fans.
Pokemon TCG Pocket will change its trades
It was via a post on its X account that The Pokemon Company wanted to confirm that they will make a variation in the exchange costs. At the beginning they came out in a way that the community has been very critical, as they understood that they were very expensive, and so they have been told.
“Since we released the first version of the swap tool a few days ago, we’ve received a lot of feedback. Thank you for giving us your opinions.
The restrictions and requirements of the tool were put in place to prevent players from abusing bots and other prohibited actions using multiple accounts. Our goal was to balance the game by maintaining a healthy environment for all players and keeping the fun of collecting cards, which is the core of the Pokemon TCG Pocket experience
Thanks to your feedback, we have understood that some of the restrictions are making it difficult to genuinely enjoy the tool as we expected. We are investigating new ways to improve it by listening to what you tell us. Later on, we also plan to offer you several ways to get exchange coins, even through events.

These changes will still take some time to arrive, but they respond to those requests from the community that, as we say, indicated that this tool was excessively expensive, since the rarer the card, the more points you have to spend to get it exchanged for another of the same level. We’ll see what variations they end up making.
