Ashley Graham, a 35-year-old model, has been named the “World’s Sexiest Woman” by Maxim magazine for their “Hot 100” edition in May/June 2023. This isn’t the first time Graham has been on the cover of Maxim, but she’s celebrating recent accomplishments, including becoming a mother of three.
In an interview with Maxim, Graham spoke about the impact of motherhood on her drive and her journey of body acceptance. “Having children has given me more of a drive,” she said. “It makes you remember that ‘hotness’ is in so many scenarios, and comes in all shapes and sizes.”

Graham has been a vocal advocate for body positivity throughout her career, using her platform to promote acceptance of all body types, and reflected on some of the biggest accomplishments of her career, including giving a TED Talk, getting her Sports Illustrated Swimsuit cover in 2016, and the creation of a Barbie made in her likeness.
She believes that embracing diversity should be easy and that conversations about body shape, size, gender, ethnicity, and age should not be negative or positive. “Our bodies are always changing, and they’re always evolving. I’ve been using my own body as a tool to be able to talk about these feelings,” she said.

She wants to change fashion industry
Despite her success, Graham still considers it “an honor” to use her story and her platform to make change in the fashion industry. “In a lot of ways I look at myself as just a normal girl from Nebraska who just has a lot of drive and ambition, so why don’t we change the world together?” she said.
Graham’s modeling career began when she was scouted at a mall in Nebraska as a tween. She didn’t know that being in front of the camera was her destiny at the time, but she believes that modeling has given her a platform to make a positive impact. “I don’t know how else I would be able to have this platform if it weren’t for modeling-so God bless you, modeling,” she said.
Ashley was born on October 30, 1987, in Lincoln, Nebraska, United States, and is best known for her work as a plus-size model and has appeared on the covers of several fashion magazines, including Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, and Glamour.
She has also worked with various high-profile brands and designers in the fashion industry. Additionally, Ashley has served as a judge on the reality competition show “America’s Next Top Model” and has hosted her own podcast, “Pretty Big Deal with Ashley Graham.”
