Los Angeles Rams will have to find the antidote to stop the powerful running game of the Philadelphia Eagles, especially their running back Saquon Barkley, in the NFC Divisional Playoff game.
In Week 12 of this NFL season, the Eagles beat the Rams 37-20 with an impressive performance from Barkley, who rushed for 255 yards and two touchdowns, plus 47 more yards receiving.
That day, Barkley not only humiliated the Los Angeles defense, but also became the ninth best performance by a running back in the history of the league, and set a new record for the Eagles in a single game.

However, the Rams (10-7) have been on the rise since that game, winning five in a row until the last game of the regular season against Seattle (25-30), but the Californians played with a substitute team after having secured the NFC West title.
On Monday night, the Rams put on a defensive masterclass as they shut down the powerful Minnesota Vikings offense in a Wild Card Game in which they had nine quarterback sacks to defeat them 27-9 and advance to the next round of the NFL playoffs.
On the other hand, the Eagles (14-3) defeated Green Bay 22-10, but left several doubts despite the victory.
Once again, Barkley had to step up for the team with 119 yards, while his passer Jalen Hurts, returned after three weeks out with a concussion, and added just 131 yards passing in a game in which the Eagles defense had three interceptions.
This will be the fourth playoff game between the Eagles and Rams, and the third in the Super Bowl era.
The first was in 1949, when in the NFL Championship Game, the Eagles beat the Rams 14-0. In the 1988 season, in a wild-card game, the Rams won 21-7.
The last meeting between the two was in the NFC Championship Game in the 2011 season, when the Rams again defeated Philadelphia 29-24, with a team led by Kurt Warner and Marshall Faulk that was known as “The Greatest Show on Turf”.
