It is often said that true friends are generous with their time and money. Streamer Adin Ross took these words to heart and surprised his friend and colleague Darren Watkins, a.k.a. IShowSpeed, with a gift that very few could have given him.
The popular YouTuber dedicated mainly to live broadcasts of video game parties turned 19 on January 21 and was visited by Ross and colleague streamer Kai Cenat for a joint celebration broadcast.
All his followers know that Watkins, sometimes simply called Speed, is a big fan of Portuguese footballerCristiano Ronaldo. Ross was aware of his friend’s preferences and took the opportunity to give him the perfect gift.
At the time of the broadcast, Adin gave a mysterious package to Speed. Upon opening it, the YouTuber burst with emotion as he found inside a luxury watch from the CR7 line by Jacob & Co., with an estimated value of $150,000.
IShowSpeed was moved to the brink of a heart attack
After struggling to open the box, Darren couldn’t contain his excitement and began to exclaim: “Oh, oh my f*cking God! That’s the Ronaldo watch, that’s the Ronaldo watch, that’s the Ronaldo watch! Oh, my f*cking God, it’s the $100,000 Ronaldo watch. Oh, my f*cking God. I love you, bro.”
The moment of the interaction went viral after the three streamers shared it on their various social media accounts.
It is not the first time that Ross surprises some of his friends with expensive gifts. Recently, Cenat himself received a sample of Adin’s generosity when he gave him a Trackhawk Jeep, also on the occasion of his birthday.
CR7’s watch
Cristiano Ronaldo and Jacob & Co. created an exclusive line of luxury watches called CR7 Epic X. The collection consists of six models with a 44 mm case with X-shaped lugs, a smooth and polished or diamond-set bezel, and a colored crown and flange.
Although it is not possible to see exactly which of the models Adin gave to Speed, it is possible that it was the Flight of CR7, the most expensive in the line.
After this gift, it’s easy to think that Ross should be at the top of Speed’s best friend list. We will have to wait for Adin’s birthday, October 11, to find out if Darren will look to match the gift.
