Pokemon is seeing its mobile phone market grow this year thanks to Pokemon TCG Pocket. The ‘simplified’ version of the collectible card game has been gaining momentum, and many fans have started opening packs to try to complete the collection and make the best decks.
Of course, although the game has been around for a short time, the different expansions were necessary to give more variety for card players to build their decks and renew the ones that can be obtained in the packs. A second one has already arrived with Mew, Celebi and Serperior as protagonists, The Singular Island. Now it seems that a third one is coming, and there has been a bombshell about it.
Leakers change their minds: it will be a fourth generation expansion
A few weeks ago, we published in this same media that the next expansion of Pokemon TCG Pocket, which is due to be released at the end of January, would be, according to the main leakers, from the second generation.
This would make sense, as it would make the game follow an order. It started with the first generation and although it skipped with the ‘mini expansion’ in December, it would now move to the second in February. However, there has been a surprising twist.
According to Pyoro, a well-known leaker in the world and very reliable with regard to this type of information, the next generation we would have in Pokemon TCG Pocket would be the fourth, which takes place in the Sinnoh region. In other words, we will move on to the Pokemon from Diamond and Pearl
This has surprised the community, who were already eagerly awaiting Ho-oh and Lugia, and if all is confirmed will have to look for Palkia and Dialga. We will see if this information turns out to be correct or if what the first leaks said is finally fulfilled and the second generation arrives.
