A new report from The Guardian revealed details about the intimate scenes that Cillian Murphy and Florence Pugh filmed for Oppenheimer. As they reveal, the actors have “extended scenes of full nudity” in Christopher Nolan’s new film.
In the film, Murphy plays J. Robert Oppenheimer, a physicist named the man responsible for the development of the Atomic Bomb, while Pugh is his fiancée, psychiatrist Jean Tatlock. Apparently, the passionate romance they had is a crucial part of this new film.
What rating did ‘Oppenheimer’ receive and why?
The rating that ‘Oppenheimer’ received in the U.S. is R, meaning that anyone 17 years old accompanied by a guardian or an adult, can see the film.
“An R-rated film, in the judgment of the Classification Board, contains some adult material. An R-rated film may include adult themes, adult activity, aggressive language, intense or persistent violence, sexually oriented nudity, drug abuse or other elements, so parents are advised to take this criterion very seriously. Children under the age of 17 are not permitted to attend R-rated films alone without a parent or adult guardian.
