Jets quarterback Tyrod Taylor and model Draya Michele are embroiled in a heated legal dispute over a Los Angeles home they shared during their relationship.
The ex-couple, who dated from 2020 until their 2023 breakup, now face ongoing tensions over ownership and eviction claims tied to the property Taylor purchased in August 2022.
Michele, 39, filed court documents on November 26, alleging that Taylor, 35, sent sheriffs to evict her and her three children while she was out of town. According to the filing, Michele’s children’s nanny alerted her to the eviction attempt during her business trip. Michele, who shares two sons-Kniko, 21, and Jrue, 8-with former NFL player Orlando Scandrick, and a newborn daughter with NBA player Jalen Green, described the situation as “alarming.”

This latest filing follows a lawsuit Michele initiated in June, accusing Taylor of breaching a verbal agreement to sell her the property.
She claimed Taylor agreed to a 3.2-million-dollar sale price after countering her initial offer of 2.8 million dollars. Michele further alleged that she invested 300,000 dollars into home improvements and mortgage payments, believing those contributions would count toward the purchase price.
The home, acquired by Taylor while they were dating, has become a focal point of contention since their breakup. Michele asserts that Taylor’s eviction threats began after their separation, despite what she describes as a clear agreement on the sale terms.
Tyrod Taylor has not commented publicly on the matter. The quarterback, who joined the Jets on a two-year deal in March, appeared briefly in Week 1 but has since been limited to the backup role. Previously, Taylor played for the Giants over two seasons, making 14 game appearances.
The unresolved property dispute highlights the complications of post-relationship financial agreements. With both sides presenting contrasting accounts, the case’s outcome remains uncertain as the legal proceedings continue to unfold.
