The Baldwin family has once again found themselves making headlines, this time due to an incident involving Hailey Bieber‘s older sister, Alaia Baldwin Aronow. According to a police report obtained by E! News, Alaia was arrested on Feb. 24 at the club Elan in Savannah, Georgia, on charges of simple assault, simple battery, battery, and criminal trespassing. The report detailed her alleged interactions with three of the club’s employees, including bouncers Ian O’Neill and Jacinto Hills, as well as bartender Haleigh Cauley.
“The video clearly shows Ms. Aronow grabbing and pulling Mr. O’Neill’s hair and her hitting Mr. Hills in the genitals,” as stated in the police report.
The incident unfolded when Alaia attempted to forcefully enter the locked employee bathroom, despite being instructed to use the public restroom. Security footage revealed that once inside, she requested a few minutes to change her tampon, which was granted by the bartender. However, moments later, Alaia removed her tampon and threw it at the bartender before being removed from the club by security.
“Ms. Aronow stated she was forcefully removed from the club,” the report continued. “She initially denied forcing her way into the bathroom, only stating she needed to use the restroom to throw up and change her tampon. She also initially denied throwing her used tampon at Ms. Cauley but later stated she did throw it.”

The situation escalated as Alaia resisted being escorted out, with the report stating that she grabbed and pulled one bouncer’s hair and hit another in the genitals. However, Alaia presented a different account to the police, initially denying forcing her way into the bathroom and throwing her used tampon. She later admitted to throwing it and attempted to justify her physical actions as self-defense.
Amidst this controversy, Alaia’s father, Stephen Baldwin, made headlines by sharing an Instagram post requesting prayers for Hailey and her husband Justin Bieber just four days before Alaia’s arrest. The post asked for support and wisdom for the couple due to the unique challenges they face in their high-profile positions.
