With 77 years of tradition behind them, the British Academy Film Awards (BAFTA) are among the most anticipated awards in the world’s film industry. Oppenheimer was the film with the most nominations this year, being included in 13 of the lists.

Oppenheimer’s nominations include Best Picture, Best Director with Christopher Nolan, Best Actor in a Leading Role with Cillian Murphy, Best Actor in a Supporting Role with Robert Downey Jr., and Best Actress in a Supporting Role with Emily Blunt.

Poor Things received 11 nominations, including Best Picture, Emma Stone for Best Leading Actress, Tony McNamara for Best Adapted Screenplay, and Robbie Ryan for Best Cinematography.

Greta Gerwig’s box office phenomenon Barbie received five nominations, including Margot Robbie for Best Actress in a Leading Role and Ryan Gossling for Best Actor in a Supporting Role.

American actor Bradley Cooper has three nominations for his participation in Maestro: Best Director, Best Actor in a Leading Role and Best Original Screenplay.
