But users who are not interested in this feature don’t have to worry because it could be disabled easily depending on the type of console, On Xbox Series X|S, you can find the option in the console system settings. On PC and PS5, you can toggle it at the in-game settings menu.

Players who want to play with others with different platforms will automatically be added to the cross-play matchmaking pool with invites available as soon as others are connected, you can also add friends from other platforms to join your team or play against each other.

According to the EA Sports FAQ website, “To play with your friends, open the EA Connect interface in Madden NFL 25, then navigate to the Player Search tab. Search for a player using their EA Identification number or by using their platform identifier. A player’s platform identifier is either their Xbox Series X|S gamertag or PSN ID.“
