Amy Winehouse’s producer Salaam Remi took to Instagram on Saturday to publish a voicemail from the late singer, exactly 11 years to the day after she passed away.
Winehouse, who worked with Remi since 2003, died of alcohol poisoning at the age of 27 back on July 23 2011.
The producer also shared a clip from Winehouse‘s ‘In My Bed’ music video on his Instagram account.

“I miss you, call me where are ya c’mon,” Winehouse said in the audio before she continued singing,
“Call me back, if you don’t I don’t know what to do.”
How did Amy Winehouse die?
Amy Winehouse‘s death remains something of a mystery, officially going down in the coroner’s inquest as misadventure.
On the morning of her death, her bodyguard checked in on her at 10:00 on that morning and couldn’t wake her, but, since that wasn’t uncommon, she was left there.
When the bodyguard went back at 15:00, the emergency services were called and she was pronounced dead at the scene at the age of 27.

Last month, producer Mark Ronson published a TikTok video where he discussed his experience working with Winehouse.
Ronson produced six of the 11 tracks featured on Winehouse‘s popular ‘Back to Black’ album.
“Hi, I’m Mark Ronson,” he said on a video that has over a million views and nearly 300,000 likes.
“For those of you who might not know me, I wrote the song ‘Back to Black’ with Amy Winehouse some 15 years ago at this exact piano right here.
“Amy came to my studio right here. We met for the first time, and I instantly loved her.
“She played me all this great ’60s music, and she left, and I got very inspired, and I came up with this piano right here.
“The next day she came in and wrote these incredible lyrics, which she scribbled in the back room.
“And for the first time ever, maybe, here are the very first vocals that she did.”
