On June 27, the Twisted Sisters podcast host will premiere her horror short film ‘Paint Her Red’ at the outdoor venue of Teatro Antico in Sicily during the 69th edition of the Taormina Film Festival.
This will be her short film directorial debut, despite winning the PornHub Vision Award in 2019 for her 32-minute BDSM directorial debut, ‘Her & Him’.
“I’ve wanted to direct for a really long time. I’ve always been in love with the making of movies as well as writing,” she told Hola in April 2023.
“I think that that’s a big one that stands out to me. Writing is my baby, it’s my child, it’s a thing that makes me feel seen and heard, and it just feels amazing to get it all out on the page.
“And when you can combine the two or the three, it really is such an incredible experience.
“So yeah, I’m very excited to see where it goes from here and to really learn. The next short I’m shooting, I’m shooting all on film, which I’m really excited about.
“Yeah. And film, it’s such a beauty, it’s such a beauty. It’s going to be my first time, so I’ll be definitely learning so much, and that’s what I love to do, I love to learn, so I hope it works out well for me.”
