Maitland Ward was told by Hollywood executives that she was not sexy and that she could not be, even people in showbiz tried to keep her down from playing a sexy character as they said that she was not enough, this was something that stuck with her and overcame over the years.

Ward jumped from the Disney Channel show Boy Meets World to the US Soap Opera The Bold and The Beautiful to show the execs that they were wrong, and after that, she became an adult movie superstar.
Ward spoke to the Daily Star recently and she confessed how she became a successful porn actress, she said that the spin-off show Girl Meets World, gave her the spotlight again, “I was able to do something different with it,” she began. “I started doing sexy cosplay, and that was just me having fun. I didn’t fully recognise it could be a career choice or I could build a brand off of it.”
She did that for some time, “That went on for four or five years before I made anything except going to Comic-Cons. I didn’t make any big money from it, just signing some autographs.”

She also mentioned that OnlyFans still had some time to come “OnlyFans was around but it wasn’t even in my universe,” she added “So I started a Patreon page. I thought maybe I could make, like, 500 bucks, and maybe people would buy some photos.
“By the end of the first week, I was the number one adult creator. I had this whole mind-blowing business! It was such a revelation for me. It was so exciting.” She elaborated

Maitland concluded, “I had been told for so long by Hollywood producers, directors, managers, and publicists that I couldn’t be sexy, I couldn’t do the kind of roles I wanted to do and that nobody would want to see me like that, nobody would pay for me doing anything sexy. That got into my psyche and that’s why I didn’t think I could make anything on content. Then all of a sudden it exploded.”
