Elian Angel Valenzuela, better known as L-Gante, rose to fame and became one of the most popular artists in Argentina following his ‘BZRP Music Sessions #38’ with Bizarrap.
However, everything changed when he went to jail on June 6 this year on charges of aggravated coercive threats and the alleged kidnapping of a man named Gaston Torres.
L-Gante: Wanda Nara is the best
At the beginning of the year, a strong rumour spread that pointed to a possible affair between L-Gante and Mauro Icardi‘s partner, Wanda Nara, when their tumultuous relationship went through a tough period.
In statements to Vorterix, L-Gante confessed that Wanda Nara has been close to him, despite him spending time in jail.
“Wanda is not in the country, but she did care and was [there for me],” he noted.
“Although I had no contact, I did talk to her.
“She’s the best, although we’re not in a relationship or anything.”
In this way, he confirmed that there is nothing between them at present, but he did point out that they had something in the past.
“What I can tell you is that I’ve only had one girlfriend in my life, Tamara, and then I got a bit excited about fame,” he added.
“After that, the closest I came to a relationship was Wanda, and that was it.”
However, Wanda Nara has always maintained that there was nothing between them.
“Nothing to do with it,” she claimed in the past.
“He is a great friend and we have a very good relationship.”
Hence, despite the disparities in both accounts, the visible displays of affection on social media and the emergence of leaked photos strongly suggest that the Argentinean singer, who spent 100 days in jail, is the one speaking the truth.
