The relevance of appearing on television during the Super Bowl is reflected in the fact that advertisers pay nearly $7 million for a 30-second commercial. Not surprisingly, the audience in the United States for the last edition reached 123 million viewers, plus more than 60 million in the rest of the world.
Beyond the Super Bowl, the effect of appearing in an NFL game was evident in the game between the Eagles and the Packers. At one point in the television broadcast, the cameras focused on AJ Brown.
The Eagles receiver, sitting on the bench, was reading the book Inner Excellence: Train Your Mind for Extraordinary Performance and Your Best Life.

The text, written by Jim Murphy, a former professional baseball player and self-proclaimed “performance coach”, is intended to be a self-help manual for developing mental toughness. “This is a book I take to every game. My teammates call it ‘The Recipe’,” Brown said
Since the image appeared, the book has become the best-selling book on Amazon these days. “I saw a picture of him. I thought, oh, that’s really cool, I’ve never had a sportsman read it in a game. It’s really an honor to be part of his life and have a meaningful place in someone’s life,” Murphy said when asked about the image of AJ Brown.
The Eagles receiver was asked after the game about that reading moment: “Reading it helps me focus no matter if I score a touchdown or drop a pass. I always go back to the beginning of the book. It says if you can have a clear mind and remember that nothing else matters, a clear conscience, nothing matters, neither negative nor positive. It also says if you’re humble, you can’t feel embarrassed.”
