An aerial view of Neymar‘s new mansion in Mangaratiba, on Rio de Janeiro’s Costa Verde, is making waves in Brazil. The images show the impressive go kart track that the PSG footballer has built in the huge house where he spends his vacations with his family and friends.
In the mansion there are also volleyball and tennis courts and several swimming pools.
What is giving Neymar‘s father, who is in charge of the construction of the mansion, the most problems is the artificial lake of 1,000 square meters, for which he has received complaints for alleged environmental crime.
To install the lake, it was necessary to remove a rock and deforest part of the vegetation in the area and even divert a river. On one side, the family has built a wooden surface and, on the other, a kind of beach kiosk surrounded by rocks.
The municipality’s Secretary of the Environment ordered a halt to work on that part of the mansion. Agents of the Rio de Janeiro State Military and Civil Police went to the site to officially notify the decision.
The soccer player’s father confronted them and was almost arrested for contempt of court.
