Ever since Jake Paul lost to Tommy Fury, the Youtuber had this chip on his shoulder and has attempted to fight the British boxer again. Multiple offers have been made, including an eight figure proposal that Tommy Fury has rejected thus far. Jake Paul recently voiced his frustrations for being ignored and sent a message to Tommy. For now, Jake Paul is getting ready to be part of Amand Serrano’s title defense main card as the co-main event. He is fighting 17-1 Ryan Bourland, who is a former Golden Gloves champion but has fought only once in the last six years. As expected, folks who don’t like Jake Paul have criticized him for taking another fight against an unknown opponent.
Jake Paul offered $15+ million to fight Fury again
Amid all the backlash he keeps getting from the most recent opponents he’s fought, Jake Paul has attempted to make that rematch happen against Tommy Fury. According to the ‘Problem Child‘ himself, he has made an offer of over $15 million that has been ignored by the Fury camp. The problem here is that Jake is not only offering to fight Tommy inside a ring but also inside an octagon. And the youngest of the Fury brothers doesn’t seem interested in a sport that is not his own. Speaking to The Sun, this is what Jake Pal said about this offer: “It’s an eight-figure deal for a boxing and an MMA fight – more money than he’s ever been offered – but he didn’t take it so the offer isn’t there anymore.
“Quite frankly, he’s going to realise how much he needs me over the next couple of months when he goes to fight someone again and he’s getting offered 75k. And the offer is down now, the offer is rescinded first of all and it’s nowhere near that now. He had his opportunity and time to take that. All of his doors that he can open in his career, they all lead to me. I can do whatever I want, fight whoever I want and you’re going to see in the very near future. I’m on a path to world champion and so if he wants to do it and he’s serious about it then he needs to be realistic around the financial side about it. And there’s no one better in this game at business than me so when I’m telling him these things, he has to f***ing listen.”
