The Jacksonville Jaguars have agreed to terms with Grant Udinski to become the team’s next offensive coordinator, the team announced Wednesday night.
This will be the first coordinator position for Udinski, who has rapidly ascended through the coaching ranks with five years of coaching in the NFL under his belt. He has worked in the Minnesota Vikings organization the last three seasons, most recently as an assistant QBs coach, and before that spent two years with the Carolina Panthers as a coaching assistant.
With the hire, rookie head coach Liam Coen continues to round out his coaching staff, as the Jaguars previously tabbed Anthony Campanile as their defensive coordinator.

Having assisted the Vikings through the quarterback uncertainty over the last two seasons, including having four different QBs start a game in 2023, Udinski will now turn his attention to working with Jaguars franchise quarterback Trevor Lawrence after a frustrating 2024 season.
Lawrence earned his first Pro Bowl nod in 2022 in his first season under previous head coach Doug Pederson, but has not been able to regain that form the last two years, with 2024 notably being marked by injuries and career lows in most categories.
The Jacksonville offense thusly struggled during the team’s 2024 campaign, ranking 26th in points scored and 25th in total yards, leading to the team’s 4-13 finish and the dismissal of the previous coaching staff.
While Udinski has been given the reins to try to turn this offensive unit around, he will not, however, be doing the play-calling for the team. Coen has already announced that he plans to retain those duties himself.
