When both of their promotions agreed on a two-fight deal, Manny’s side didn’t honor the deal and McGregor’s promotion decided to sue him. After a legal battle, McGregor claims they reached an $8 million settlement that Pacquiao still hasn’t honored on his side. Amid Saturday’s fight between Francis Ngannou and Tyson Fury, Conor will likely stumble upon Pacquiao an things could get tense pretty quickly. Especially after McGregor’s now deleted X audio file he placed on his profile. Conor seemed angry towards the legend from the Phillipines.
Here’s what McGregor said: “Where’s my $8 million from that court case, Manny Pacquiao? You owe me $8 million, Manny… Are you stupid, Manny? I’ll kick you in the head, in the neck, the inside leg, and take you off your feet and drag you by your ankle across the stage. You can appeal all you want, hurry up with your appeal, you owe me that dough, lad. You can’t sign a contract with an agency to represent you and then go and start to do other things like imminently, straight away. I had Floyd [Mayweather] bent over, I could’ve done anything to him, I should’ve done anything to him. I should’ve shown the world because it’s doing my head in a bit the way the process is.”
