For decades, the murders of both Tupac Shakur and Notorious B.I.G. have been linked because they represent the gang wars between Bloods and Crips. While Tupac represented the West side of the United States gangs through his music, Biggie Smalls represented the East side coming from New York City. A war that was ongoing and at its peak during the early ’90s but it got to a point of no return when these two legendary rappers were killed. Tupac was shot dead in 1996 while Biggie followed a year after that, which made these wards halt for a while. Now, retired Las Vegas Metro Police Detective Clifford Mogg is linking both deaths to the same case.

What former Detective Mogg told the jury during the deposition at Clark County, only helps uncover a much larger set of clues that he was following when he was still in the force. He claims that during his time investigating the case, he was aware that people associated with both murders were involved and the theory that has always existed about this is 100% accurate. Although he didn’t link Davis to Biggie’s murder, he did confirm that the masterminds of both murders were the same people. Mogg also stated that Duane ‘Keefe D’ Davis talked himself into jail after granting many interviews where he openly discusses his involvement in Tupac’s murder.
According to the former detective, Davis only did those interviews because he was handsomely rewarded for them. After a year of Tupac being killed in Las Vegas during a drive by shooting, Biggie died under similar circumstances. Although Biggie died also in a drive by but in the city of Los Angeles. Now that we know the two cases were related, people will only continue to create conspiracy theories about both murders. While the case of Tupac’s murder is ongoing, more information will come forward as more witnesses take the stand in this trial.
