The Scout highlights the best-value players in 2024/25 Fantasy Premier League in terms of points per million (ppm) returned.
Many of these players can be particularly useful for those managers trying to fit BOTH Erling Haaland (£15.2m) and Mohamed Salah (£12.6m) into their squads, including the 450,000+ with their Wildcard currently active ahead of Gameweek 4.

Midfielders have offered the best value in Fantasy across the opening three Gameweeks of the season.
As many as eight of the top 12 players for ppm are midfielders, with Liverpool pair Luis Diaz (£7.6m) and Salah among them.
Diaz has been a revelation under the Reds’ new head coach Arne Slot, scoring three goals and supplying an assist.
The Colombian has amassed 32 points which means that, at a cost of £7.6m, he has produced 4.2ppm – more than any other player in the game.
Salah’s place in the list is all the more remarkable given that he is the second most-expensive player in Fantasy, with only Haaland costing more.
Both Salah and Haaland are level at the top of the player standings on 41 points, which is the best-ever start of all-time to a season in Fantasy.
The Egypt international has combined three goals with three assists and eight bonus points.
Apart from Salah, Liverpool No 1 Alisson Becker (£5.5m) and AFC Bournemouth’s Antoine Semenyo (£5.6m) are the only other players in the assessment who have yet to blank this season.
Alisson has helped the Reds to three clean sheets to sit at the top of the goalkeeper standings on 21 points, just one point ahead of Arsenal’s David Raya (£5.5m).
Semenyo, meanwhile, has produced two goals and an assist to collect 19 points. The underlying statistics look hugely encouraging for the winger – indeed, Semenyo’s 17 shots and 11 shots in the box both rank TOP in his position over the first three Gameweeks.
Aston Villa’s Amadou Onana (£5.1m) has shown why a change of club can transform a player’s prospects in Fantasy. The French midfielder has scored twice, already matching his attacking output for 2023/24, when he was at Everton. Onana has returned 3.9ppm, second only to Diaz among midfielders.
Villa’s upcoming schedule certainly strengthens the appeal of Onana as a great budget pick. Over the next three Gameweeks, he has back-to-back home matches with Everton and Wolverhampton Wanderers, and also visits promoted Ipswich Town.
Danny Welbeck (£5.7m) has also been a standout in the cut-price bracket. The Brighton & Hove Albion forward has two goals and an assist to his name, with his only blank coming at Arsenal in Gameweek 3.
Welbeck leads his team-mate Joao Pedro (£5.7m) by 23 points to 18 and has offered far more all-round threat, too – he has bettered the Brazilian by six shots in the box to three, and by four key passes to three.
Brighton also have an excellent short-term schedule to reward immediate investment, with back-to-back home matches against Ipswich and Nottingham Forest in Gameweeks 4-5.

Elsewhere, Brentford duo Bryan Mbeumo (£7.1m) and Yoane Wissa (£6.1m) have each returned 3.4ppm spent.
Both have been involved in three goals, collected five bonus points and blanked only once – at Liverpool. Mbeumo has amassed 24 points, thanks to three goals, while Wissa’s two goals and assist have earned him 21 points.
Although encounters with Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur will deter immediate investment, Brentford’s schedule turns significantly better in Gameweek 6.
According to the Fixture Difficulty Ratings (FDR), five of their subsequent eight matches score a mere two. Each of those five favourable contests are at home, with the Bees entertaining West Ham United, Wolves, Ipswich, Bournemouth and Leicester City.
