Sean Strickland’s latest sparring session caught the attention of Jake Paul as the streamer offered him $1 million to fight in the ring.
On Friday, the former UFC middleweight champion faced streamer ‘Sneako’ at the UFC Performance Institute in Las Vegas – and there was no surprise how it turned out.
Strickland gave Sneako an all-out beatdown, throwing towels left and right inside the cage in an attempt to stop the sparring session gone wrong.
The streamer somehow managed to stay on his feet, only to take some major punishment from the number one UFC middleweight in the world.
Jake Paul (8-1) has made a career out of beating former UFC fighters, including Nate Diaz, Anderson Silva, Tyron Woodley and Ben Askren.
But the influencer-turned-boxer wants to beat traditional fighters – and challenged Strickland to fight him after roasting his performance against ‘Sneako’.
“Shawn Strickland you’re embarrassing for trying to stop sneako like that,” he posted on X, formerly Twitter. “You weren’t even able to drop someone with no experience while going all out.
“You’re a horrid boxer that only picks on inexperienced people.. I’ll fly you to PR and we can fight on camera… if you win I’ll give you $1 million (half your net worth).
“But if you get dropped you have to get ‘Betr’ tattooed on you. DM me. But just like paddy I’m guessing you’ll find a way to run.”
Strickland responds to Jake Paul
Strickland seemingly took no interest in Paul’s proposal to fight him and pulled no punches with his response, calling him a “cancer” repeatedly in a feisty message to the YouTuber.
“I want to conclude this, I want you all to understand the phenomenon that is Jake. You’re a professional troll, you fight retired small MMA fighters because you’re a troll but the worst part of it all is that you’re a cancer,” Strickland said.
“You inspire people to accomplish nothing, to be nothing. You inspire people to be trolls because you were successful at it. Jake Paul you might be rich but you’re not man, you byproduct of society that has fallen.
“Your trolls will rally around you and be inspired to be like you but understand one thing, you and your troll army are not my equals. Enjoy your virtual world with the understanding that you’re a cancer on this country. Money will never buy you dignity. Enjoy.”
