The Mexican pitcher has a probation sentence, but has received an update from MLB after being placed on administrative leave and, despite not having an official suspension, team owners cannot take him into account, since the video about the incident with his partner aggravated his situation.
In the middle of the offseason and with many teams on a mission to strengthen their rotation, Julio Urias would be a coveted arm, but he is in a situation similar to Trevor Bauer, who was no longer considered in MLB and continued his career in Japan and, last year, in the Mexican Baseball League, where he was champion with the Diablos Rojos.
