Outstandingly winning the chance to join in the Round of 16 FIFA Futsal World Cup 2021, the Vietnam Futsal team is awarded 1 billion
Vietnam Futsal team had an outstanding performance in the last match in Group D – FIFA Futsal World Cup 2021 with the Czech Republic. The draw 1-1 is enough for the team to join into the next round.

This is the second time Vietnam Futsal team through to FIFA Futsal World Cup knockout stage. In 2016, Vietnam Futsal Team also made a big impression while won 4-1 over Guatemala to join the Round of 16. In this second time, the team even has a better achievement while defeating Panama with a score of 3-2 and drew the Czech Republic 1-1.
After the match with the Czech Republic, on behalf of the VFF Executive Committee, VFF President Le Khanh Hai congratulated the team and appreciated the players’ spirit. The VFF Executive Committee awarded the team 800 million.
Besides that, VOV who sponsors futsal national tournaments also awarded the team 200 million.
