The long-awaited saga of Kylian Mbappe concluded on Monday after the French forward was officially announced as a Real Madrid player, following confirmation from Mbappe himself to French President Emmanuel Macron earlier in the day.
The announcement was due from Real Madrid at 7:00 pm, eventually happening at 7:30 pm local time in Spain, to put an end to a seven-year chase for the French superstar.
Now the question is… when will we see Mbappe don the famous white Real Madrid shirt?
When Will Mbappe Debut for Real Madrid?
Mbappe‘s debut with Real Madrid will depend on the performance of the French national team at Euro 2024, which starts on June 14.
Real Madrid players who reach at least the semifinals of the tournament will not join the usual preseason tour in the United States. During this tour, Real Madrid will face Milan on July 31, Barcelona on August 3, and Chelsea on August 6.
Therefore, if France reaches the semifinals, Mbappe’s debut for Real Madrid is likely to be on August 14 in the UEFA Super Cup against Atalanta at the PGE Narodowy Stadium in Warsaw, Poland.
When Will Mbappe Be Presented by Real Madrid?
Mbappe is currently at Clairefontaine with the French national team preparing for Euro 2024 in Germany. The most probable date for his presentation at the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu is after the Euros, likely around July 15 or 16.
However, other options are being considered, including the possibility of the presentation taking place after his vacation.

- June 21: France vs. Netherlands in Leipzig
- June 25: France vs. Poland in Dortmund
Before traveling to Germany, France has two friendlies scheduled:
