Earlier, England had been restricted to 113/8, thanks to an impressive spell from Parunika Sisodia. Despite a strong start from Davina Perrin (45 off 40 balls), England fell apart after the powerplay. Sisodia and Aayushi Shukla played key roles in the collapse, with Shukla removing Perrin in the 12th over.
England’s captain Abi Norgrove chipped in with 30 runs, but it wasn’t enough to set a challenging target. Sisodia and Vaishnavi Sharma claimed three wickets each, while Shukla picked up two, putting India in a commanding position ahead of the final.
