However, not everyone was impressed by her radiant presence. Enter one social media user, @GernezDan, who decided to tweet a harsh critique: “Gabby Thomas doesn’t sound like she’s the brightest out there.”

“You’re probably right, darn my Harvard degree,” she said.

The tweet calling Thomas “not the brightest” couldn’t have been further from the truth. In fact, Thomas is not only an elite athlete but also an exceptional scholar. She graduated from Harvard University in 2019 with a degree in neurobiology and global health, proving she’s just as sharp off the track as she is on it.
But she didn’t stop there-she went on to pursue a master’s degree in epidemiology at the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston.
