A collection of the world’s top track and field athletes are headed to Boston this weekend as the New Balance Indoor Grand Prix returns for another year of competition.
Many of last year’s Olympic hopefuls are returning to the New Balance facility this year as crowned medalists. Yet again, the meet will be headlined by Noah Lyles as he takes on Italy’s Marcell Jacobs in a clash of the two most recent 100m champions — Lyles claimed the title in Paris, and Jacobs in Tokyo.

Also set to compete on Sunday are 100m hurdles gold medalist Masai Russell, 110m hurdles gold medalist Grant Holloway, and 400m hurdles and 4×400 relay gold medalist Rai Benjamin. U.S. distance star Parker Valby will also make her professional debut in Boston after finishing her senior year at Florida with five NCAA championships.
