Club America have finalized their 2024 Clausura squad after completing the signing of Javairo Dilrosun from Feyenoord and chose a unique way of announcing his arrival.
After passing his medical, the 25-year-old was confirmed as the newest addition to Andre Jardine‘s squad to cover the absence of Leo Suarez.
To celebrate the Dutchman’s capture, the Mexican club used their imagination to create a video in the style of the famous artist Vincent van Gogh.
As the Eagles unveiled their new offensive man, the Liga MX outfit tweeted their clip with the caption: “From Feyenoord, an artist of the ball, welcome Javairo Dilrosun.”
An image of Dilrosun appeared in the style of Van Gogh’s ‘Starry Night’, with a dark purple sky reminiscent of the art piece.
The deal to sign Dilrosun is reported to have cost America 5million ($5.4m) and it is a permanent transfer, despite initial reports suggesting he would join on a one-year loan.

Moments before America announced the signing of Dilrosun, the Eredivisie club – where Mexico striker Santiago Gimenez currently plays – thanked him for his time in Rotterdam.
Dilrosun returned the favor as he paid tribute to the fans after ending his 18-month spell with the Rotterdam-based club.
“I returned to the Netherlands last year with the goal of succeeding at Feyenoord, and the fact that we won a championship in the first season generates a sense of pride in me that will always prevail,” he told the club’s official channels.
“I thank everyone who contributed to this and made me feel at home in Rotterdam. I wish you all the best.”
Dilrosun, a former youth player with Manchester City, played in Germany with Hertha Berlin and made 59 appearances, scoring six goals for the club before their relegation to the Bundesliga 2.
He moved to Bordeaux on loan for the 2021-22 season and played 36 games in Ligue 1, netting three times and registering six assists.
He has only won one cap for the Netherlands national team, which came back in 2018 after coming on as a substitute for Ryan Babel in a UEFA Nations League game against Germany.
