Now that Nintendo Switch 2 is official, we can properly talk about its upcoming releases. In other words, what games have already been confirmed for Nintendo Switch? Some time ago I told you that I had been analyzing the latest movements of the big N to try to ‘predict’ what games they might produce, but they are not the only ones.
In addition to the exclusives they may be working on, different third-party developers have confirmed that they are already working on some games for Nintendo Switch 2. In fact, some of them even dared to comment on it before the official announcement.
However, what we are interested in is not this. What really matters to us is that10 different games have already been confirmed for Nintendo Switch. Nine of them belong to third-party companies while the last one was seen during the console’s own announcement.
I’m indeed referring to the new Mario Kart. We still don’t know anything about it, but the images shown during the NS2 announcement did not correspond to Mario Kart 8. That is to say, without saying anything, Nintendo has already told us that we will have a new MK.
Nintendo Switch 2: These are all the games that have already confirmed their release
Below is a list of all the games that have already been officially released (according to IGN and ComicBook) along with a trailer of the same, in case you want to take a look. Are they the only ones? Surely not, and it is very likely that we have missed a few indies, but they are the ones that have made the most noise during these first days.
In addition, various stores have listed games from such large companies and developers as Bandai Namco, Square Enix, Ubisoft and more, so this is just the beginning.
Aurascope. Platform title in which we will have to discover the secrets of the so-called Aurascope.
Berserk Boy. We don’t have much data on this one, but it defines itself as a 2D platformer in which we can literally go crazy.
Bestiario. Surely many of you know it, as it is a Spanish RPG based on the dynamics of Japanese role-playing games. Two of the most prominent names in the project are Loulogio and Yuste.
Bushcraft Simulator. Survival game that will test our skills in a grim forest.
Littlelands. An action, adventure and fantasy game starring big-headed little guys. Farming, treasure hunting and resource gathering to build your home seem to be its hallmark.
My Time at Evershine. Life simulator from the creators of My Time at Portia and My Time at Sandrock. It is their most ambitious project to date.
Ruffy and the Riverside. A game that emulates the aesthetics of the classic Paper Mario to present us with a story of adventure and exploration.
Secret Forest. An MMO whose protagonists look something like anthropomorphic lizards.
Synth Beasts. Capture monsters and face the scientists who created you.
The Legend of Dark Witch 4. Colorful 2D platformer with anime aesthetics.
Yooka-Replaylee. Platforms that follow in the footsteps of the great classics.
