During the latest episode of WWE‘s RAW, Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson lived up to his billing as the “Final Boss.” He clashed with Cody Rhodes as a part of the scripted show, but then took a heel turn when the producers told him “clear” but The Rock threw out the script to humiliate his rival even further.
The altercation escalated to a shocking level of violence, with The Rock even involving Rhodes’ mother in the feud. The intensity escalated as he seized Rhodes’ face, saying, “this is what happens when you f**k with the Final Boss.”
“I hate constraints and bullsh*t rules,” he wrote when he posted the backstage video on Instagram. “I can’t shut my high emotions off just because a script says we’re done.”
What rules did The Rock break?
Johnson found himself at the center of controversy, not just for ignoring the producers but also for swearing on live television. In a departure from the PG-rated programming WWE has maintained since 2008, The Rock’s actions and language have pushed the boundaries, drawing criticism and accusations of double standards backstage.

The 51-year-old icon has made a thunderous return to the wrestling world, now serving on the board of directors for TKO, the organization’s owners. This return will culminate in his first match in eight years, set to take place at WrestleMania 40.
Teaming up with his cousin, the reigning Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns, The Rock is slated to face Cody Rhodes and World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins in a high-stakes Tag Team Match.

When is WrestleMania 40 and who is in it?
The showdown is scheduled for April 6 at the Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, as part of the two-night WrestleMania extravaganza.
The stakes couldn’t be higher, as the outcome will determine the fate of Reigns’ title defense. Should they lose, Reigns will have to defend his championship against Rhodes the following night, under strict conditions barring outside interference from his allies.
However, a victory for The Rock and Reigns will grant them the advantage of Bloodline Rules, with Reigns calling the shots.
