Formula 1 returned to Albert Park last year when the Australian Grand Prix took place in April after a three-year absence.
With the event attracting a record crowd, tickets are hotly sought after for this year’s spectacle.

When is the 2023 F1 Australian Grand Prix being held?
The 2023 F1 Australian Grand Prix is taking place between March 30 – April 2.

Thanks to a new contract extension, F1 will hold a race in Melbourne until at least the end of 2037.
This year’s Grand Prix will also feature F2 and F3, with both racing championships becoming a long-term component of the weekend.

Are tickets for the F1 Australian Grand Prix 2023 sold out?
The popularity of Formula 1 is currently sky-high in Australia, and that has been reflected in the ticket sales for the 2023 Grand Prix.
Most ticket types were snapped up instantly following each of the three initial releases, as well as an extra fourth release.
Park Pass (general admission) and grandstand seats for Saturday and Sunday are now sold out, but some limited hospitality options still remain and can be purchased via the official Grand Prix website here.
How much do tickets cost for the F1 Australian Grand Prix?
Like last year’s Grand Prix, the 2023 event includes general admission (Park Pass), grandstand and hospitality ticketing options.
A four-day Park Pass costs AU$250 for an adult, whilst grandstand seats range from $415 to $625.
Hospitality experiences are priced from $2,050 to $5,595 for a three-day pass.

What changes have been made to the Albert Park track?
The Albert Park Circuit in Melbourne underwent some renovations ahead of last year’s Grand Prix.
To enable more overtaking opportunities and promote faster and more competitive racing, seven corners were adjusted, with two removed entirely.
The chicane at Turns 9 and 10 was also removed, with these changes to remain for 2023.
A fourth DRS zone has been added for this year’s race between Turns 8 and 9, meaning Albert Park becomes the only track on the F1 circuit to have more than three activation zones.
