But he now got some company in the non-succession line on Wednesday, as the royal family announced that Princess Beatrice gave birth to a daughter.
What stood out to many was the name given to the child. Named Athena Elizabeth Rose Mapelli Mozzi, she was born prematurely by several weeks on January 22. Although Beatrice says the child is “tiny“, she also says she is “absolutely perfect“. Thankfully, it was a “safe arrival” according to Buckingham Palace.

She is currently ninth in line to the British throne and has done countless amounts of charity work throughout her life.
