WWE Royal Rumble 2025 begins at 6 p.m. ET on February 1. It is in Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Indiana. Home to the Indianapolis Colts, the stadium can hold up to 70,000 people.
The Royal Rumble event is traditionally one of the year’s biggest and most anticipated WWE shows. It features a men’s and women’s Royal Rumble match, with 30 participants.
The first two participants kick things off, and after one-minute or 90-second intervals (it can vary by year), another wrestler comes out. That continues until all competitors have entered the match. The last person in the Rumble matches earns an opportunity at a championship at WrestleMania 41 in April.
Competitors in the men’s match include the retiring John Cena, CM Punk, and Roman Reigns, the latter competing in his first Royal Rumble match since 2020.
Also on the card, Cody Rhodes defends the Undisputed WWE Title in a Ladder match against Kevin Owens, who holds the “Winged Eagle” belt, which is also on the line.
Finally, Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa defend the WWE Tag Team Titles in a Two Out of Three Falls match against the Motor City Machine Guns.
