In the early hours of Friday, November 15 to Saturday, November 16, Mike Tyson will return to the ring to fight against the YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul. The fight will be broadcast live on Netflix and will be considered a professional fight, which will count towards both fighters’ records. ‘Iron Mike’ will relive his past as one of the most important heavyweights of all time.

Beyond his controversies in the ring, with the scene of the bite to Holyfield’s ear still in the retina almost 30 years later, Tyson has a long list of controversies in his private life: from his three failed marriages to children and infidelities, and several arrests.
In his teens, the American boxer was arrested on several occasions for various offenses, mostly related to violence and theft. His family drama, going from one foster home to another, led him to a gym, where his story as a sportsman began and until he reached professionalism.
Mike Tyson’s three marriages
In 1988, he met his first wife, Robin Givens, but they soon divorced amid rumors that their life together was mired in violence, abuse and deceit. In fact, Givens went so far as to describe her marriage to Mike Tyson as “torture” on ABC.
In 1990 it was said that Natalie Fears’ son, D’Amato Tyson, was the boxer’s son, but it was soon proven that this was not the case. His first daughter is Mikey Lorna Tyson and his second marriage would not come until 1997, once he was released from prison after serving time for rape and being released early for good behavior.
The joy did not last too long, as Mike Tyson and Monica Turner divorced in 2003, although they had been living separate lives for some time, with several accusations from Turner of infidelity on Tyson’s part. Together, however, they had two children: Rayna and Amir. He also had two other children, Miguel and Exodus, with a stripper. His third and final marriage would come in June 2009, to his girlfriend Lakiha Spicer in Las Vegas. From this union Milan and Morocco were born.
