Taylor Swift has added another title to her growing list of accomplishments, becoming the world’s richest female musician.
The title was previously held by Rihanna, but Swift now sits at the top according to Forbes with a net worth said to be $1.6 billion.
The outlet stated that the 34-year-old moved into top spot thanks in large part to her music and live shows. As much as $600 million of the fortune comes from royalties and touring, while her ever-growing music catalog is worth an estimated $600 million.

On top of that, Swift also has five homes across the USA which are said to be worth about $125 million.
Right behind Swift sits Rihanna, who is worth an estimated $1.4 billion thanks to her Fenty Beauty and Savage x Fenty lines.
Swift’s empire continues to grow
The news comes after Forbes reported Swift became a billionaire in October 2023 thanks to her Eras Tour and music catalog.
The tour began back in March 2023, and according to Rolling Stone, is the highest-selling tour worldwide by earning more than $1 billion. The outlet noted in December 2023 that Swift sold about 4.3 million tickets at an average price of $238.
While Swift’s tour continues to be red hot, she also makes waves whenever she releases one of her albums. In 2021 she bean releasing re-records of her first five albums. This was done in order to regain ownership rights to them after Scooter Braun sold the masters for more than $200 million.
Swift’s latest album, The Tortured Poets Department, debuted at No.1 on the Billboard 200 and topped the charts for 15 weeks after it was released in April. It sold more than 2.4 million copies in the first half of 2024 alone.
