Although there are never exact estimates of how much the Gambino family was actually worth, it is said that they were worth an estimated $500 million during John Gotti’s reign.

His son and John Gotti III’s father was placed at No. 12 with a $10 million net worth. Since Peter Gotti (John Gotti’s brother) died of natural causes at the age of 81, the Gambino family hasn’t been controlled by the Gotti family.
