RAW debuted on Netflix a month ago and it was a complete success, except for Hulk Hogan. The wrestling legend was brutally booed at the Intuit Dome, home of the NBA’s LA Clippers.
Hogan was there to promote his brand of beer in a segment that became quite uncomfortable as the people of Los Angeles booed him and it was hard to hear what he was saying even though he had a microphone in his hands.
There was speculation as to why this happened, the first reasons being his strong support for Donald Trump in his campaign in one of the most Democratic cities in the United States, and also his accusations of racism over the past few years. Or it could have been both.
The truth is that the social media community began to deny that it was because of a political situation, as The Undertaker also made an appearance, he also publicly supported Trump and did not receive any boos, but Hulk Hogan finally spoke about what happened and did not remain silent.
“I got booed for my political beliefs”
The Hulkster was a guest on Pat McAffe’s show and was asked about the boos he received in Los Angeles, and although he tried to deflect the question, he answered with every intention of not getting in trouble:
“I expected the boos. You have to realize that the last time I wrestled in Los Angeles, I was the bad guy. I was Hollywood Hogan and I was a bully alongside Nash and Hall, spraying people with mace and giving everyone the crotch-grip gesture. The last time I was there, I was a heel,” he said.
To that end, Hogan began to build trust and opened up a bit more with a controversial answer:
“I think politics had a lot to do with it,” Pat interrupted to say, “And some other stuff,” Hogan agreed, saying, “Yeah, of course.” The former wrestler paused, thought, and let out a nervous laugh when he understood the comment.
He then said the plan was to promote his beer and he couldn’t turn his promo against the fans:
“Since you guys want to live in a world of hate, I hope you have a good time when Kamala Harris is your new governor and you’re all standing in line for soup. Mic drop, see ya. I couldn’t do that even though I was ready to respond to them,” Hulk Hogan continued.
The Undertaker enjoyed booing Hogan
Another friend of Donald Trump spoke about the booing of Hulk Hogan, and while his guests laughed about the whole situation, The Undertaker left a very clear message showing that he has no friendship whatsoever with the Hulkster.
“I didn’t feel bad for him. Sometimes in life, things come back to haunt you,” the WWE Hall of Famer said.
We will see if Hulk Hogan returns to the company soon and see how he is received in another state of the country, there we will find out if it was because of a political situation or because of the many controversies he has gotten himself into.
