Ana Maria Markovic, known as the “world’s most beautiful footballer” can learn a thing or two when it comes to celebrating Halloween.
The Switzerland-born soccer player represents the Croatia national team and plays for Swiss club Grasshopper.
Markovic, 22, has become a social media sensation this year, nearly doubling her following on Instagram over the last six months to surpass one million fans on the platform.
One of her most recent posts, however, left a lot to be desired because she dressed up as a cat for Halloween, perhaps the simplest costume available.
She added a basic cat makeup and captioned the post by asking, “And what do you wear on Halloween?”

Despite her hit-and-miss of a costume, Markovic continues to wow fans both on and off the field.
She has previously stated that Cristiano Ronaldo is among her favorite players because of his work ethic.
Markovic has also said that while she likes to be known as the “world’s most beautiful footballer,” she doesn’t like when news outlets describe her as “sexy.”
She is currently using her voice to speak up for equality in football when it comes to women’s wages.
