On Tuesday, May 7, the Apple Event will be held with the so-called “Let Loose”, in which details about the brand’s new line of iPad Pro, iPad Air, and a possible preview of new Artificial Intelligence features will be unveiled.
Tim Cook, CEO of Apple, will finally break the silence after a long period of time with little news from the company.
Since the final months of 2023, rumors about a possible event during the spring of this year began to sound, with the expectation of the company presenting the new MacBook Air models and the aforementioned iPad Pro to the world.
In early March, Apple announced the new 13.6-inch and 15.3-inch MacBook Air models, with few physical changes compared to the previous generation MacBook Air models of 2022 and 2023.
However, with the adaptation of the new M3 chip, it will make it 20% faster than with the previous generation M2, and it will also come with improved graphics.
How many Apple Events are there per year?
In 2023, there were three such events: the WWDC in June, the Wonderlust iPhone event in September and Apple‘s second fall event on October 31.
In 2022, Apple also held three events, in March, June and September, although there are times when there are as many as four global events held by the brand in a given year.
For 2024, the first will be this Tuesday and it will kick off at 10:00 a.m. Eastern U.S. time. Although the possibility that the company will have four events throughout this calendar year has been mentioned, there is nothing official.
It is expected that, after the May 7 event, there will be at least two more, in June to present the new line of iPhones, and in September to talk about Apple Watches.
There is some doubt whether there will be a fourth event in October to launch the new Macs, but nothing has been confirmed yet.
