Michael Vaughan has thrown his support behind Australia hosting a Test match series between India and Pakistan in the near future.
The Indians are currently stationed Down Under and have been engaged in an absorbing battle against the Aussies, which has seen bumper crowds flock to grounds all around the country.
Yet as the two sides enter into the final thralls of their record-breaking series, the former England captain has outlined his belief that Jasprit Bumrah and co should return to Australia to face their biggest rival in neutral territory.

Should Australia host India vs. Pakistan Test series in the future?
India and Pakistan have not played each other in a Test series since December 2007 due to ongoing political tensions between the nations.
Although they have met occasionally in major tournaments since and competed in a string of T20 and One Day International games on Indian soil in 2012-13.
“I’d love to see India play Pakistan in Test match cricket in Australia,” Vaughan stated on Fox Cricket while the Indians fought to retain the Border-Gavaskar Trophy at the SCG.
“They play each other in World Cups or in the Champions Trophy but I’d love to see them in a Test match series.
“If it can’t be played in India or Pakistan, play it at neutral venues like here in Australia.”
India have enjoyed stellar support throughout their tour of Australia, with 373,691 strong turning out for the Boxing Day Test in Melbourne.
The accumulative figure across five days of action broke the near century-long attendance record at the MCG for a Test match.
“There would be a huge amount of support for it,” Vaughan stated.
And this point is certainly supported by Melbourne Cricket Club approaching Cricket Australia to host a Test between the two nations in the past, as well as their spine-tingling T20 World Cup clash at the MCG which attracted a crowd of 90,293 fans a little over two years ago.
“I know there are a lot of politics involved and it’s well beyond my pay grade but India against Pakistan here in Australia, why not?” Vaughan added.
“Play them at the MCG, at the SCG and the Adelaide Oval.”
