Elon Musk’s ‘Nazi’ salute during Donald Trump’s inauguration as the new president of the United States is causing a stir. News portals around the world have echoed this event, with reactions such as some politicians leaving Twitter (X).
In Spain, Yolanda Diaz, Minister of Labour, was one of those who made this decision, followed by others such as the Minister of Culture, Ernest Urtasun, or the Minister of Youth and Children, Sira Rego
All of them have criticized this gesture, and have gone a step further, something that others such as Pablo Iglesias and Gabriel Rufian have not done, who only published several tweets about the greeting, although they have not said anything about leaving the platform.
This could remain a simple anecdote, but Elon Musk has decided to respond. He has done so in several ways, mainly by retweeting people who explain that he was only “offering his heart” to those present, although more directly, the tycoon decided to write three tweets.

The first tweet he put out was asking for new tricks to criticize him: “Frankly, they need better dirty tricks. The ‘everyone is Hitler’ attack is very exhausting,” he wrote.
He then went on to directly attack the media and those who listen to them: “Since Wikipedia considers legacy media propaganda as a ‘valid’ source, it naturally simply becomes an extension of legacy media propaganda!”
To end with a third tweet featuring Kamala Harris, Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama and Elizabeth Warren raising their hands in the same way he did: “Legacy media is pure propaganda. You are now the media,” he said.
