Odell Beckham Jr. focuses on his new ‘job’ after being cut by the Miami Dolphins as the Super Bowl-winning wide receiver turns his attention to being a good family man by raising his children.
The 32-year-old has been unable to recapture the form he had from 2014-2016, only producing 55 yards and no touchdowns from nine catches through nine games in Florida. As a result, they have parted ways.
But despite the setback, the 2021 NFL champion doesn’t seem to be too concerned as he enjoys Christmas with his family anyway and recalled the joy of seeing his son run into his room to tell him Santa had visited.
“Just sittin back thinkin how amazing it was Christmas morning,” Beckham Jr. wrote to X.com, formerly Twitter, on December 27. “My son running in the room to wake me up, ‘Daddy, Santa brought presents!’

“The purity of his soul and the genuine excitement to open ever gift is a feeling in ur soul u can’t describe. Just him in his own world minding his business and happy with his people and the ones he loves. Not worried about the next man or what any body else has goin on just happy.
“I feel like I wish the world could take a page from this book as just a reminder to worry about yourself and ur loved ones and this whole world would be a better place!”
Beckham Jr. silences his haters
The post went on to earn 4,500 likes and 288,000 views as people shared his appreciation of children’s unrelenting joy and zest for life. However, on the internet not everyone can be happy for you.
One troll decided to mock him by telling him it’s time to get a job, only for the professional athlete worth $40 million dollars to hit back in resounding fashion to utterly silence the haters.
“Who buddy wit the weak response or me,” the NFL star replied on X.com. “Lol cause can’t be me my “Job” is living and being a father.”
Beckham Jr. later added, “Ion never have to do nun I don’t wanna do in this life again papa… im put tf up by the choices and sacrifices I made in this life (with laughing emoji).”
