Formula E has innovated with the creation of Evo Sessions, an event in which different celebrities will be able to experience what it feels like to drive one of the 2025 electric single-seaters… and what it takes to get there.
Eleven personalities from different strata of the world of sport, culture and entertainment will have this unique opportunity, including Sergio Kun Aguero and Brooklyn Beckham, the eldest son of the galactic David Beckham.
It has now been revealed which team he will represent. As you would expect, a surname like Beckham’s will be associated with the most British of the Formula E teams: Jaguar
“I have always been a passionate motorsport enthusiast, so when the opportunity came to be part of the Evo Sessions with Formula E and Jaguar, I jumped at it. It’s going to be an incredible opportunity to experience what it’s like to compete at the highest level in motorsport,” says Beckham, who will be linked to the reigning manufacturers’ champion. “I will learn with the championship-winning team and from a multiple race winner like Mitch Evans, who will surely help me to get the most out of the Jaguar.”
In his connection with the Coventry-based brand, Brooklyn Beckham will have the opportunity to visit the factory and receive instructions from none other than Formula E world runner-up Mitch Evans (winner, by the way, of the first E-Prix of this year).
Birthday gift
The New Zealander will be in charge of guiding the British star in his two days of testing with the Jaguar I-TYPE 7 which, coincidentally, will coincide with his 26th birthday on March 5
He will also be accompanied in the part of the experience that takes place off the track and ranges from the moment Beckham gets his seat fitting to his track baptism, through sessions of specific physical preparation to withstand a test with such a high-performance single-seater or the tests in the simulator to know all its systems and the Miami track where the event will take place.
