Years after Scarlett Johansson and Bill Murray starred opposite each other in the 2003 movie ‘Lost in Translation’, they spent more time together in a bar to discuss the shoot in Tokyo.
However, it was a chance meeting, as the actress walked into a bar and her former co-star was the only person drinking there.
Johansson has only now opened up on this meeting with Murray, a chance encounter that took place many years after ‘Lost in Translation’, but also several years before the present day.

“I hadn’t see him for a decade or more, a long time, but then I walked into a bar with my ex-boyfriend from a long time ago and there was only one person at the bar and it was Bill Murray,” Johansson revealed on Gwyneth Paltrow‘s Goop Podcast.
“It was so weird. I walked in, and I saw him sitting there, with nobody else there, and I was like ‘Oh my God, I haven’t seen him in so long’.
“I was like ‘I guess I’ll have to go and see what’s up’.
“It was such a weird moment. It was like a dream.
“He was also surprised. We sort of talked through that time, which had been hard for him too.
“Actually, it was kind of therapeutic. We had a cathartic experience in that weird bar.”
The accusations made against Bill Murray
In recent times, several accusations have been made against Bill Murray, including one of sexual misconduct on the set ‘Being Mortal’.
The actor stated that there was “a difference of opinion” with a woman working there on the movie, but this complaint made headlines and even saw other actors speak out about their experiences of working with Murray on various sets over the years.
