We all remember that controversial steamy video where the entire world knew who Emily Ratajkowski was, Robin Thicke’s ‘Blurred Lines’. An explosive exposure that the super model got to experience and made her become one of the world’s most researched celebrities online. When it first came out, the video was an instant hit as the song was but the big star of the show was Emily. She agreed to appear topless in the uncensored version of the video and made a major impact int he entertainment industry. This brought all the attention towards her, got her contract with some of the world’s biggest fashion brands and international recognition.
In the video that also features two other models, Thicke, Pharrell Williams and T.I., Ratajkowski is one of three models who agreed to appear topless in the video, she made some shocking revelations in her 2021 book ‘My Body‘. Emily accuses Robin Thicke of molesting her during the shoot as he got increasingly drunk and rude during the shooting of the video. Director Diane Martel eventually confirmed Ratajkowski’s account of what happened. She was the one who suddenly stopped the shooting and everybody scrambled. Another ‘Blurred Lines’ co-star confirms Thicke’s groping
Super model Elle Evans, the blonde model who also appears half naked in the shoot confirmed what happend during an interview with Bustle. She said: “All the stuff with Emily and Robin there together, that was a closed set. So they had no one else watching. What I remember is that, toward the end of the shoot, Emily did leave very abruptly. There was kind of a bit of a scramble among the production team, like, ‘What are we gonna do? How do we shoot the rest of the video without her?’ I was told that she had a flight to catch. I remember Diane shouting, like, ‘That’s too sexy. Don’t be too sexy. This is not the club, you know. This is not a lap dance’.”
