Nick and Aaron Carter’s sister Bobbie Jean passed away on Saturday in Florida, although the exact details of her death have not been confirmed, in the past, Bobbie Jean had struggled with addiction issues.

This is the third death in the Carter family and as expected they are devastated, her mom Jane Carter made a quick statement and released it to the press asking for patience and privacy during this difficult time.
She told TMZ “I am in shock from learning of the sudden death of my daughter, Bobbie Jean; and I will need time to process the terrible reality of this happening for the third time. When I can think clearly, I’ll release a fuller statement; but until then I would request to be left to grieve in private.”
Bobbie Jean is survived by her young daughter Bella as Jane mentioned in the statement “[H]owever deeply a parent feels the loss of a child, the suffering of a young child at the loss of a parent must be much greater. So, I would ask the sympathetic to say a prayer for my precious eight-year-old granddaughter Bella, who previously lost her father and is now also left without her mother.“
BJ had some participation in the family’s musical career during the peak of their brother’s success, she was a wardrobe and styling consultant to her brother Aaron back in the early 2000s.
She also got some attention when she starred on the E! Reality show “House of Carters”, and although she was in only 8 episodes, she liked to live away from the limelight.
According to the outlet, BJ had problems with addiction and substance abuse throughout the years and battled her condition constantly. She also had a couple of arrests, including the last one early this year.
The 41-year-old Bobbie Jean is the third member of the Carters who has passed away, Aaron Carter died due to a drug-related drowning. Back in 2012, his sister Leslie died of an overdose.
