In light of recent bombshell allegations, ESPN’s Stephen A. Smith has raised concerns about the potential impact on Justin Tucker‘s performance.
The Baltimore Ravens kicker was accused by six massage therapists of inappropriate behavior, including exposing himself, brushing two therapists with his exposed genitals, and leaving ejaculate on massage tables, according to a Thursday report in The Baltimore Banner.
The alleged incidents occurred between Tucker‘s rookie season in 2012 and 2016. However, Tucker‘s lawyers have vehemently denied the claims, calling them “unequivocally false” and defending his reputation.

Despite the denials, Smith questioned whether the accusations could have affected Tucker‘s on-field performance, particularly after the kicker’s uncharacteristically poor season in 2024.
Tucker, considered one of the most reliable kickers in NFL history, has struggled with accuracy this year, making only 22 of 30 field goal attempts for a completion rate of just 73.3 percent.
This marked the worst performance of his career, significantly lower than his career average of 89.1 percent. Smith wondered whether Tucker had known the allegations were coming and whether that knowledge could explain his decline in performance.
Before this season, Tucker had never finished a campaign with a field goal percentage lower than 82.5 percent. He is the NFL’s record holder for field goal percentage, a distinction that made his 2024 performance all the more surprising. Smith speculated that the weight of the impending allegations could have affected Tucker’s focus, leading to his struggles on the field.
How has Tucker responded to the allegations?
In response to the allegations, Tucker has maintained his innocence, stating that he had never been accused of misconduct before and that the claims presented by The Baltimore Banner are exaggerated. His legal team has issued a statement denying the allegations, with Tucker emphasizing his commitment to professionalism throughout his career. He also refuted the notion that he had been banned from any spas, claiming that he had never received any complaints from massage therapists.
The accusations have prompted further investigation, with five of the six women alleging Tucker made inappropriate requests and exposed himself during sessions.
Two of the therapists also claimed they found a “large wet spot” on the massage table after their sessions, which they believed to be ejaculate. As a result, Tucker was banned from two local spas: Ojas and Studio 921, which both took immediate action after receiving complaints.
The Ravens have not yet made a public statement about the matter, leaving Tucker to address the allegations on his own.
As the investigation continues, the kicker’s future both on and off the field remains uncertain. While Tucker denies the claims, questions about their potential impact on his career and performance persist.
