Erin Andrews may be one of the most recognizable faces in sports broadcasting, but at home, her husband, retired NHL player Jarret Stoll, wishes their life were a little more private. In a recent interview with Success magazine, Andrews, 46, revealed that Stoll, who won two Stanley Cups with the Los Angeles Kings, has reservations about the public nature of their lives, particularly when it comes to sharing personal struggles.
“My husband would rather we not be so public – me not be so public,” Andrews shared, reflecting on the challenges of balancing her high-profile career with her private life. The conversation came to light as Andrews spoke about their nine-year journey with in vitro fertilization (IVF), a topic she decided to go public with despite Stoll’s initial hesitation.
Andrews opened up about their fertility struggles in 2021, during her seventh round of IVF. She explained that the decision to share their story was deeply personal. “He was just like, ‘Why do we have to say this?'” Andrews recalled.“And I said, ‘Because these waiting rooms are packed.'” Her transparency helped her become a prominent voice in women’s health, shedding light on an issue often shrouded in silence and stigma.
The couple’s persistence paid off in July 2023 when they welcomed their first child, son Mack Roger Stoll, via surrogate. Though the journey was difficult, Andrews has been vocal about the importance of speaking out, saying, “This just absolutely sucks! And I am so sick of sticking myself with needles and going in there and having a happy face and not telling anyone about it.”

Still, Andrews and Stoll try to carve out moments of normalcy. “I talked about it on a walk with my husband last night as we were walking our dog – we’ve got a lot going on,”she said, referencing her packed schedule, which includes a Super Bowl year and Brady joining Fox Sports.
Andrews and Stoll tied the knot in 2017, six months after she announced her battle with cervical cancer, which she has since overcome. Through her podcast Calm Down, co-hosted with Charissa Thompson, Andrews continues to candidly discuss her career, health, and family life.
